SIAMS Report

Under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005, The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and

Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is used to inspect all Church of England & Methodist schools.

When we were last inspected, we recieved a 'good' grade in all areas!

The principal objective of SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and

effectiveness of our school as a specifically church school. This is separate to our

OFSTED Inspection.

Inspectors seek answers to four key questions.

  • How well does the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meet the needs of all learners?

  • What is the impact of collective worship on the school community?

  • How effective is the Religious Education?

  • How effective are the leadership and management of the school as a church school?

Our latest SIAMs Report:

In September 2019, parents were given a SIAMS questionnaire to complete.

We had overwhelmingly positive responses, which can be viewed here.
