St Mary’s COVID-19 School Closure from 20.3.20 - apart from the children of ‘critical workers’ & those classed as vulnerable.
At the end of an incredibly stressful & quickly changing week, we are writing to say our goodbyes for now to most of our children & families as they begin their period at home in order to safe & well.
As you know, we will be remaining open for our most vulnerable children as well as those of ‘critical workers’ so that they can continue to provide essential services. Indeed, our thoughts & prayers are for all those who are working on the front line to combat this virus!
At the present time, we obviously don’t know when our schools will be open as normal to everyone. The current provision will be available as needed for as long as it is viable to provide it, or until government advice is changed. Please be assured that everyone at our school will be ready for a fantastic comeback either in the Summer or Autumn when all of this is over.
For now, we wish all of our children, families, friends & community all God's richest blessings for your continued good health, peace & well-being.
With sincere best wishes,
Karole Sargent and Karen Miller
Our website will give you just a taste of all the fantastic things that our children experience at St Mary’s! We’re all very proud of our children & school and see ourselves as one big family, building “Excellence through faith and learning.”
We want all of our children to fulfil their full & amazing potential as a child of God & to have great fun in doing it! If you would like to come & have a look to see that St. Mary’s can offer your child through a place at our school, then please give us a call – we look forward to hearing from you!

We are a Church of England School and we are incredibly proud to be an inclusive school which welcomes all children into our school family. Our school provides an exciting curriculum as well as a wide range of experiences so that all pupils can succeed and develop a love of learning.
Our pupils understand the importance of ‘respecting yourself, respecting others and respecting the environment’. This culture of respect is apparent as soon as you walk into our school. If you would like to visit St Mary’s to experience our school first hand, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
