Learning Activities

We know that you will have seen in the news that schools may reopen on 1 June to FS2 (reception), Y1 & Y6 pupils if the government thinks it is safe. As a result, we are in the process of putting together our action plan for a phased reopening. We know that this is a very unsettling time for us all, but rest assured that we are doing everything that we can to make sure we’re ready to receive these year groups if it’s safe for our school to reopen in the coming weeks. Please be assured that we will not be pressurising anyone to send their children to school, since you know your children and personal situation best. In the meantime, the school continues to be open for vulnerable pupils and the children of critical workers.

We will be sending out more information shortly, but as you can imagine, need time to plan the way ahead.

We would like to thank you for your continued support in helping your child learn from home & wish all of our families continued good health in these difficult times!

With sincere best wishes,

Karole Sargent and Karen Miller

Our website will give you just a taste of all the fantastic things that our children experience at St Mary’s! We’re all very proud of our children & school and see ourselves as one big family, building “Excellence through faith and learning.”

We want all of our children to fulfil their full & amazing potential as a child of God & to have great fun in doing it! If you would like to come & have a look to see that St. Mary’s can offer your child through a place at our school, then please give us a call – we look forward to hearing from you!

Karole Sargent  (Proud to be) Executive Headteacher

We are a Church of England School and we are incredibly proud to be an inclusive school which welcomes all children into our school family. Our school provides an exciting curriculum as well as a wide range of experiences so that all pupils can succeed and develop a love of learning.

Our pupils understand the importance of ‘respecting yourself, respecting others and respecting the environment’. This culture of respect is apparent as soon as you walk into our school. If you would like to visit St Mary’s to experience our school first hand, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Karen Miller- Head of School.
